Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

alimony

My ex husband was ordered to pay me $2000 a month Alimony for life unless I remarried. He is now $16,500 behind. Is there anything I can do to get any payment at all. I am desperate.

You can file a motion to enforce tha order for alimony and get a judgment for the unpaid amount. Then you can garnish his salary, levy against his property or attach his accounts.

Mr. Smith is right but he also forgot to get contempt and you could request that your ex-husband be thrown in jail.

Is your ex-husband self employed? It will make collecting much easier if he is not. I would be willing to do this on a contingency basis.
