annulling a marriage

If you are married and the person you are married to goes to jail can you have your marriage annulled. Also can anyone get a annullment on there marriage or what are the standards or requirements to getting a annullment.

You also need to be married in Nevada or live in Nevada to get an annulment by a Nevada court.

Re: annulling a marriage

You need a reason for an annulment such as misrepresentation, being already married, incapacity, intoxication, fraud, lack of consent, etc. Otherwise you have to get a divorce.
