In a nutshell, annulments require lacking the mental capacity to have exchanged marital vows in the first place. To effectively be granted one is very rare in most cases, and it is not based primarily on how long or short the marriage is/was per se. You should strongly consider retaining legal counsel to review the factual situation and circumstances of your marriage to best advise you from here, as divorce may be your only option, absent more facts posed in your question.

Because you were married in Las Vegas, you don't have to live here for 6 weeks to get an annulment provided you have grounds for an annulment. You still have to live in Nevada for 6 weeks to get a divorce, even if you were married in Las Vegas. To get an annulment in Nevada you have to have grounds for an annulment. Some of the grounds are fraud, want of understanding, lack of capacity, and failure to dissolve a prior marriage before entering into this marriage. Since each case is fairly unique you would need to discuss the grounds with an attorney to see if you would qualify for an annulment and to find out if you have waited too long to seek the annulment. How long you can wait after marriage before you seek the annulment also depends on the grounds for the annulment.

Even though you were married in NV, California law applies because that is where you live. In California an annulment is very difficult to obtain.

Because you were married in Nevada, a Nevada Court has jurisdiction over the marriage to issue either an annulment or a divorce. Annulments are granted when there was a fraud in the marriage. That is why they are harder than divorces, but I have received 3 out of the 4 annulment requests because most judges don't care that much.
