Can you have someone other than yourself but not an attorney talk for you in an evidentiary hearing in Clark county Nevada?

Generally, you may not have someone who is not authorized to practice law make legal arguments on your behalf. In fact, if a person makes legal arguments on your behalf in court, you could be held in contempt, and the person speaking on your behalf could be charged with practicing without a license. You may have someone serve as your witness, but this person will only be able to testify as to facts based on personal knowledge. A translator speak for you if you have trouble communicating in the English language, but the translator can only state what it is that you are saying.
