Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
name change for minor
My son's father & I were not together when he was born. Since then, we have married. My son still has my maiden name. I have a felony record from 15 years ago (drugs). I have not been in trouble since, and am working on having my record sealed. In Nevada, one whom has a felony record may not change their child's name (according to the forms), or at least, they must consul.t an atty. What can I do to have his name changed?
