Prior to attending court you have to prepare an Opposition to the other party's motion. You also need to file a Financial Disclosure Form if you are seeking financial relief. You also have to be prepared to state your position concisely with specific requests for relief from the Judge.

You will have to fill out a financial disclosure form. I recommend getting an attorney.

Have you filed a written opposition to whatever the spouse filed? Have you filled out a financial disclosure form? You need to be prepared because the most important things in your life, your children, are at stake. Further, what you do also financially affects you.

This is not the time do go it alone if you do not know what to expect. At the very least, go to court a day earlier and watch what happens and learn about the Judge.
