child support for grandchildren

I want to collect child support for my grandchildren. they have been with me for almost 6 years. I want to retire but can't. the D.A's office is doing nothing

You would need to get a court order requiring the parents to pay you child support. If you already have it and they have not paid, you can get a judgment and garnish or try to have them found in contempt and possibly jailed. While the DA is free, they are very slow. If you need more help, I would be happy to do it.
