Community Property
My mom just recently passed away and we have a car in both of our names.She is married,now does he get half of the car because of the marriage?someone told me because of community property laws its half his now is that true?thank you.

Depends. If she used earnings from her job to buy the car or make payments, he may have an interest in the car. It also matters whether title said "or" or "and".
