Dating during divorce

I am in the process of divorce that has been in the process for about a year. Recently my ex-wife informed me that her lawyer stated that I am not allowed to date or have a girlfriend during the divorce process. We have a daughter together and she also states that my having a girlfriend will harm my visitation with our daughter. Is this true? Am I not allowed to move on with my life since we are getting divorce?

Re: Dating during divorce

You can date and have a girlfriend. However, the girlfriend may become embroiled in the divorce proceedings if custody is at issue.
