Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

My daughter lives with her mother in Texas, and I live in Nevada. I have court-ordered full custody of her. Her home situation has gotten so bad that her friend has offered to take her in, but the friend lives in Louisiana. If I wanted to give her friend's parents Temporary Custody, is there a way I could do this without having to fly to Louisiana? Could I simply get the Temporary Custody notarized here in Nevada and send it to the friend's parents to get it notarized there in Louisiana?

Nevada only provides for 6 months temporary custody. It would be better to use the form Louisiana uses for temporary custody as that is where the girl will be living. Otherwise, you can go to the Court that gave you custody and allow it to make the Order.
