Divorce Property Settlement.

How is the property settled in a divorce if the property (house) was purchased afeter marrage and put in the wife's name only.

If the home was purchased during the marriage and maintained as a communal home then the presumption is that it is community property. Options available may include giving one spouse a lump sum buyout equal to their equity share, partitioned sale, etc.
