Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Divorce and Settlements

I have been married for 4 years in Nevada and my husband and I were in an auto accident. He suffered mild injuries and I've had 2 back fusions and knee surgery. Our attorney told us that our settlements are seperate and that he will be awarded based on his injuries and pain and suffering and me also. If we are contemplating divorce and I am on social security disability and he is working and I have numerous potential future medical problems..is he entitled to sue me or receive half of my settlement in addition to his under common property. Thanks
