divorce support

My ex has a court order to pay monthly support for one more year and a lump sum due at the begining of next year. He is behind right now 5 payments and claims he cant afford to pay what is my recourse?

Re: divorce support

File a Motion to have him held in Contempt of Court.

You will have to come up with a retainer--start up money for a lawyer, but the court will most likely order him to pay some or your attorney fees.

Please be advised that the court may lower his future payments based upon changed circumstances.
