Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

I was divorced in New Jersey in 1992 and I want to file a motion to eliminate alimony. All terms and conditions of the order have been satisfied, however, in NJ the alimony could go on forever. I am presently 63 years old and collect SS and 2 pensions. I also work a part time job making just enough to pay the alimony which is garnished from pay check every 2 weeks. I now live in Nevada and have been for the past 13 years can i hire a lawyer here to file this motion or do I have to NJ which really can't afford.

Sorry; per the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA), only NJ can alter the alimony obligation. You need to hire counsel there.
