Domestic violence
I am trying to join the military (Army) but I have a misdemeanor DV charge which was issued in Dec 2008 (1st offense) . Is there any possible way I can join with this charge on my record.

It will be up to the Army recruiter.
Hopefully you have completed the terms of your sentence which probably included counseling.
