Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

So my exhusband and I had a hearing on 08/27/2012 and there was not contests on either party so the judge said that the divorce decree will be granted! And when I check the status online it's says 08/27/2012-case heard and settled-divorce decree granted clerk to prepare

But I have not received it so I called the courthouse and they stated that the decree has not been prepared by the clerk, so I asked her if I am legally divorced and she stated she could not answer that I would need to ask an attorney!

Please help, the divorce is in the state of Nevada... I did this divorce myself with no attorneys so I just need to know if I'm legally divorced!

Usually the Plaintiff or Joint Petitioner prepares the Decree for the Judge to sign and not the Clerk of the Court. The Clerk usually prepares the Minutes. Until the Decree is signed and filed you are still married. I would get an attorney or family law paralegal or go to the self-help center at Family Court to get assistance in preparing the Decree. You can request the Minutes from the Clerk's Office.
