Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Father wants to give up rights to our unborn son.

I'm 7 months pregnant. The babys father has not been around or involved since the 2nd month of pregnancy. I was informed by his mother that he wants to give up all rights to our child and wants nothing to do with either one of us. Can he do this or is there a way I can stop that from being done. I want my son to know his father and I dont feel its right to leave me with the expenses 100%. I need any info you can provide! thanks

He can't do this. You will have to sue him to establish paternity and get child support but the D.A. will do this for you for free.
