Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Father quit job to start business/getting married

Father had been garnished for approx. 6 months. He quit his job to start a business. He is getting married to the women he left me for and now I am concerned he wont pay me the child support I normally had gotten. He makes tons of money along with his new wife. If he fails to pay me, can I garnish his new wife since it is a shared income? How do I get the child support if he owns his own business? He moved away to Nevada and Im in Ca. Im concerned I wont get paid. My girls are most important to me and I want to make sure they are taken care of.

contact the child support department in your county. That department will contact the equal department in Nevada and they will make every attempt to collect child support for you. That is the best you can do to collect child support.
