Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

I want to file for a legal separation, if we decide to stay together do we need to do anything or can we just get back together and the separation papers will be void?

Nevada does not have "legal separation" per se. We have "Separate Maintenance," the rules governing which are explained in detail at http://www.willicklawgroup.com/separate_maintenance.

I also believe that since your marriage is going through some turbulent times, you should have a post-nuptial agreement prepared.
