Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Just filed for divorce and they kicked back my proof of residency. Don't know why but do I just have to refile that portion of it?

You need to make sure that you have alleged that you lived in Nevada for 6 weeks before you filed your Complaint. You also need to have a resident witness sign an Affidavit saying that he or she has seen you physically present in Nevada at least 6 weeks before you filed your Complaint for divorce. That resident witness must also state how long they have lived in Nevada as well and what his or her relationship to you is. You need to refile your documents if they do not contain this information which must be sworn as truthful.
