Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
Full uncontested child-custody-- no visitation
I am a father of a 5 year old girl. I was not married to the birth mother, but recieved full custody (with visitation-limited by mother), and child support by the court (daughter was 6 months old). Mother never paid court ordered support and utilized visitation infrequently (non-contact=months). Mother now asking and getting my daughter for visitation (up to a full week): and support is being recieved thru attachment-wages.
This infrequency is becomeing increasingly detrimental to child emotionally.
Can I discontinue the visitation clause? Support payments go directly to childs savings account(for her only). Contact with maternal family is frequent, friendly and unrestricted(i.e. grand.. aunt, uncle).
Mother is only problem in a positive, supportive life. This needs to stop-------HOW?

Re: Full child-custody-- no visitation
If there is a Court order of custody and visitation, you will need to get it modified. If there isn't a Court order, it would be a good idea to get one. The Court will be reluctant to deny visitation without objective evidence - not just your opinion that it is emotionally harmful.
