Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
general harassment charge
My husband and I are divorcing, currently living separate, no documents filed. We have been living separate for @ 2 months. He has an ex-girlfriend that is @4 months pregnant. I have been seeking legal advice on questioning the paternity of the baby.
She has threatened to sue me for harassment if I do not stop.
I have had absolutely NO contact with this person. The ONLY contact is e-mail between she and my husband. She is military stationed in England.
Does she really have grounds to sue me for harassment? Is it harassment for me to have discussions with my husband pertaining to his indescretions during our marriage? HE chooses to pass on whatever to her, I don't know what he's said or passed on to her regarding what I've said. Do I not have a right to seek legal advice in the situation and inform my husband that I am doing so?

Re: general harassment charge
Why is the paternity of this child important to you? Nevada is a no fault divorce state- he can have 10 pregnant girlfriends- it won't change the merits of your divorce. It may, howeve,r be the basis for reducing your child support if you have children. You should focus on your divorce and spend less time mulling over your husbands indescretions.
