Can a grandparent file for visitation rights in the state of Nevada?

Yes, but it is really up to the parents. If your son or daughter has not lost some of their parental rights, ie. they passed away, are in prison or just has visitation limited as a result of a custody order, you have a stronger case. If your child has full rights, ie. living with your grandchild and he or she does not want you to see your grandchild, the judge will not grant you any visitation over the parent's objection.
