Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

My grandson will be 12 in 2 weeks,how old must he be to decide that he'd rather live with his grandparents...NOT... he mom.my daughter left him with us so she can go find a happier life 3x now we ( his grandparents ) has seen enough of this nonsense & we'd like to have my grandson live with us.Is he old enough to decide according to Las Vegas,Nevada law?
