Until and unless there is a finding of parental unfitness, you have the right to determine what happens to your kids, and even who ever gets to see and associate with them; this is a matter of Constitutional importance, according to the U.S. Supreme Court in the Troxel case.

Some details of the law of child custody, including the limited rights of grandparents and other third parties, are detailed on our web site, at http://www.willicklawgroup.com/child_custody_visitation.

You should talk to Social Security. Assuming it is not true that you have left your kids to be raised by your parents, they are not entitled to the SSI money. You should deal with this promptly.

Where do your two daughters live. It appears that they are living with your parents by your consent. If you want them to live with you, just don't return them. Of course, you will need to change their schools. I would contact Social Security to get the checks sent back to you.

If you have any more questions, I will give you a half hour consulation for forty five dollars. You can email me at [email protected]
