house payments

How do I make an agreement between husband and wife binding? Husband has left me but promised verbally that he will continue to make house payments so daughter and I can continue to live there.

If divorce is imminent you should file for divorce. You can then enter into a Stipulation and Order wherein you can agree to exclusive possession of the house and your husband will agree to continue to make the house payment. Once the parties and their attorneys and the judge sign off on the Stipulation and Order it is binding and enforceable in court.
