Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

My husband and I currently live in Nevada and our marriage is over. We've been together for 5 years but married for less than one year. Can I get our marriage annulled? Btw- we got married in California.

Thanks!

Maybe. The distinction between annulment and divorce is explained on our web site, at http://www.willicklawgroup.com/annulment.

It is easiest of both parties to the marriage will sign supporting affidavits as "mutual mistake," etc. (I can't tell from what youve written whether we may be able to get your spouse to cooperate), but it is often still possible if only one party participates and the other does nothing.

The difference between marriages that are voidable, rather than void ab initio, is also explained on the Annulments page, at http://www.willicklawgroup.com/annulment. You apparently have the former, not the latter, situation. But divorce can and should probably be pled in the alternative, as a matter of course.
