Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
My husband and I got a marriage license in Nevada, and were married in Arizona. The marriage certificate had a Nevada location listed on it. I have a video of the wedding, and can prove it was not held where it was written down as. Are we legally married, and do we have to go through a divorce, or is an annulment possible? I live in Iowa, he lives in Arizona.

Curiously, this is a matter I have researched thoroughly for other cases. While "every legal intendement" is construed in favor of a lawful marriage, it is usually seen as a matter of State-specific law.
But I am a little unsure what you mean by "where it was written down as." Do you mean that your supposed Nevada marriage ceremony took place in some other State? That would be pretty extraordinary, and MIGHT constitute grounds for an annulment. Or not -- I'd have some follow up questions, especially about the officiant (person performing the marriage) and how what happened, happened.
If an annulment action could be made out, the case could be filed here; while divorce would require Nevada residency, annulment of a marriage purportedly contracted here can be filed here without either party being a Nevada resident. For some details, see:
