Unless the start date is used as the reference for something else (such as totaling the marriage time for figuring retirement benefit divisions) typographical or other errors in the pleadings don't really matter. If you are filing an answer, or other paper, or reviewing a proposed Decree, try to make sure any errors are corrected there, to prevent future confusion.
