I need help with my law exam. WHat is the differences between alimony, child support, anc child custody? What are the primary purposes for them?What criteria is used to determine wh oreceives alimony or support, and custody in a divorce? Please help me i am stumped i have searched your my only hope. due tom.

Alimony is support based on a disparity in income between spouses.

Child support is money for the parent who has custody of the children.

Custody is who has the children most of the time.
