i live in las vegas nevada is it legal for me to have my daugthers friend live in my home if her mom wants to kick her out she is 16 and gces to school with my daugther

Legal? Sure. If no one ever says anything, no one will care. If it is over the objections of the parents, you might want to seek a guardianship, which is not a bad idea generally if there is any chance you will ever have to seek medical care, school registration, etc., on the child's behalf. See:
