Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

i live in las vegas, i have a 10 year old boy. i was never married to his father. I want to move to reno but am unsure if i have custody of my child. since his father and i were never married who has custody of my child. his dad or me?

You have custody if no one has gone to court to establish paternity, custody, visitation and child support. You may want to get a paternity order so that you can collect child support.
