Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

in March 2010 I was ordered to pay back my ex husband's atty fees due to me being mis-represented by an awful atty. I was asking for primary custody at the time. The fee was 3500. I attempted to contact his atty last June w/no response. I have attempted to discuss payments to my ex with no response. Since then my ex lost his job and I haven't received child support since 4/1/11. ($480.76 every two weeks) The DA's office is handling this portion. He is also responsible for half the medical premiums for the children and half the doctor's fees. (Our son just had a surgery and I am being stuck with all the bills) I figured by not paying me the support that his 3500 atty fee was paid in full but someone told me I would have to fill out some sort of form to get this "legal" so it doesn't show I have not paid. Is this true and if so, what do I do to clear this debt legally and how do I go about legally making him pay the medical expenses he owes? To date I believe his license is suspended.

Thank you!

There is no "form," but a stipulation and order between the two of you showing the set-off would probably be all that any court would ever require. If you are not up to that, at least get a written agreement between the two of you, signed by both, listing the agreement and all relevant numbers.
