Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

I just got married a few weks ago. My wife has three daughters, 4, 7, and 8. The biological father of these chidlren passed away two years ago. I want to adopt these children but Im not sure how to go about it. Do i need to get a laywer or can I do this myself since this is uncontestedand my wife wants me to. Thanks

You can probably do it yourself since not only is it not contested, there is not a big rush so if you make a mistake, you can just resubmit. You can find the forms online and because it is a step-parent adoption, there is no need for a home investigation.
