Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Mom needs an attorney for visits w/ kids after 6 years

I am trying this again, I am trying to get visitation with my four kids age's 12,10,9,& 8. I was divorced in CA. from my ex-husband in 1999. I was in default for the divorce hearing and never received any other summons. My ex got physical custody and has made it absolutely impossible for me to see my kids. He now lives in Pahrump, and is under investigation by CPS in Nye County for abuse and neglect, I think, CPS is not calling me back. But there is an ongoing investigation. I have visitation right's but my ex refuses and still makes it impossible to see them. I have offered to settle this out of court he refuses. I have offered to pay for any counseling for reunification he refuses. I know that I have rights to see my kids what can be done to enforce them, I want them modified I want more that just every other weekend. I want to know what is going on with the CPS investigation. I retained an attorney, but I was very unhappy with the results of the paperwork, it was never filed. It was very unprofessional I think I could have writtten something better myself, and there were a lot of communication problems. I want to retain an attorney as quickly as possible.

I have not dealt with CPS in Nye County but have about 10 years with them here in Clark County. You should definitely see your children and you may need to get your California Divorce Decree filed here in Nevada. I can help you if you still need an attorney and I will do an excellent job.
