Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
Montana Property
My husband & I recently divorced but still own a 20 acre parcel in Montana. It states in our divorce Decree that if we can not agree on how to split the property that it must be put up for sale. We have not been able to agree so I have asked that the property be listed. My ex will not sign a sellers agreement so how do I go about getting this property on the market?

Re: Montana Property
You will have to go back to Court and the Judge will order that he sign the seller's agreement, will have the clerk sign or just sign an order saying that you have the sole discretion to sell the property and modify the divorce decree.
Obviously, the last option is best for you.
Re: Montana Property
You can bring a Motion before the court asking that your former spouse sign or in the absence of his cooperation that the clerk of the court be able to sign for him. You can ask for attorney's fees based upon his lack of cooperation.
