Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
Moving out of state
My daughter's father and I have a custody order. I was planning a move out of state and told him about it. He gave me written permission and we even went together to get it notarized. My question is shoul I file this with the courts or am I O.K. as long as I have it.

Re: Moving out of state
You should prepare a Stipulation and Order which you and he sign before a notary and which is signed by the Judge and filed with the court. The Stipulation and Order must state that he is allowing you to relocate out of state with your daughter and it should further state what his visitation is and who will be paying the cost of transportation for vistiations. You should then do a Notice of Entry of that Stipulation and Order.
