power of attorney
i have moved out of state and will have to file a contested divorce. will i be able to give power of attorney to a family member to stand in my behalf incase im needed in court.

No. That would be practicing law without a license. Only a lawyer can stand in your behalf.

No. You need an attorney for that. Would you seriously consider having a non-attorney family member stand before the court and make decisions on your case for you? How do think that will work out?
