Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
protective order
My wife took out a protective order against me just to get me out of our home. The protective order has expired, and since then she's admitted that her allegations to get the order were false. She was even questioned by a counselor about specific allegations, and she admitted that they were false.
Because of this protective order, my whole life has been turned upside down. I've lost several thousands of dollars, time with my kids, and basically had to rebuild my whole life from scratch. Is there anything I can do to get compensated for this?

Re: protective order
You could sue your wife for abuse of process, but what is the point you are suing yourself if you are married.
