Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

I have a very particular question. I settled my divorce out of court but agree on monthly alimony payments. Looking back, I realize I only agreed to it to get it over with quicker. Now she is harassing me and my new girlfriend while simultaneously threatening to sue for more money. Just weeks before we filed, I gave her my entire tax return, which exceeded seven grand. Now, my question is, is there any way to get spousal support removed? Between the harassment and the money I gave her, while her also having moved onto another relationship over a year ago and harassing myself and my family, do I have any chance or getting this removed?

As the classic response goes, "it depends." Start with the order itself -- does it say anything about being modifiable or non-modifiable? Then consider the general rules for modification of alimony orders, including changes in financial condition relating to cohabitation. Some discussion of those questions and materials are posted at http://www.willicklawgroup.com/spousal-support-alimony/ and in the articles, especially "A Uniform Approach to Alimony," posted on that page. For a more certain response, you should consult with a qualified family law specialist well familiar with litigation of alimony modification cases.
