reduction of child support
i have been divorced for 4yrs we have shared custody of 2 kids for the past 2 yrs he hasnt taken the kids for the full time only 2 days a week claiming he has side jobs to do i have two pay extra for food for them and babysitters since i go to school.recently on his side job he hurt himself and is going to be on disability, but he still does his side jobs which by the way are off the books.now he is taking me back to court that he cant pay child support he has three cars and he claims that he pays 150 a month for clothes for the kids when i sent them clothes with them every week because he refuses to buy them any and 300 a month for food when they come home crying that they are starving they go for therapy and this is all documented.i live in a low income apt.trying to support my children i recieve s.s disabilty can the courts reduce the child support. i recieve 980 a month, and he claims he can only give me 200 by the way ,anytime my kids need anything he tells to go to my parents to help them.i also asked him to take the kids on his days with them so i dont have to pay for babysitters and he refused to pick them from school and was going to leave them there they are 6 and 8.

You need to get an attorney. Your not too clear about what happened. Suffice to say paying bills, e.g., food and clothes, is not a substitute for the child support obligation. You need also to get proof he is making money off the books and how much. You may need a private inestigator to find this information out.
