Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

I am representing myself in a custody case. Can the opposing counsel call my HR department and ask for the insurance payments I pay every month?

Representing yourself is almost always a bad idea, especially when the other side is represented by and attorney and the stakes are high. If you choose to represent yourself, you should study the pertinent law as much as possible. You will probably be best served by starting at a law library. There is one at UNLV's law school that is open to the public, and there is another on the floor above the Clark County Public Defender Office on 3rd street. You may want to begin with a book entitled "Nevada Family Law Practice Manual."
