responsible party
If a 17y/o minor decides he does not want to live with his parents, and physically moves in to another home setting with adults... who is responsible for the well being of this minor should something happen to him (ie hurt, ill etc). Who is responsible for feeding, clothing etc of said minor. As of yet other adults have not contacted parents of minor.

The parents are always responsbile until the child is 18 unless there is emanciapation, guardianship or the child is made a ward of the court.
