Am I responsible for debts encured my by my son who is over 18 but under 21?

Parental responsibility for child's debt

Depends. Did you co-sign for the debt? Was the debt incurred as a result of a "necessary" i.e., medical expense, food, shelter. Did your child still reside at home? Contact your local bar associations legal referrral service. They should provide you with an answer during a free consultation.
