Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

short story, i filed for custody in nevada the father had until today to respond and he didnt. i am going to file the default papers tomorrow morning but if he gets a lawyer can he get the default changed. what will happen?

Defaults may be set aside, if they are pursued promptly and the moving party has a good faith defense to the matter defaulted. here is a strong public policy to resolution on the merits of a dispute. That said, if the other side is slow, or asserts no reasonable defense, the case could end.
