Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

My sisters mother in law was falsely accused of harassment and had a restraining order placed on her, she was wrongly accused and does not speak English and was not prepared to fight her accuser in court, the allegations placed on her were a lie and the accuser placed the restraining order out of petty jealousy, is there any way to fix the Restraining order on her after the court granted the accuser the restraining order?

Possibly. With a lawyer, you can have the Judge reconsider. I am willing to review things for $200 for an hour and we could discuss further representation. My email is [email protected]

Restraining Orders are temporary and only become extended (one year) with an actual hearing in front of the Judge where your sisters mother in law will have an opportunity to be heard. The court will provide a person to translate.
