Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

My son, who lives in Salem Oregon, wants to come back to live with me again. He is 14 years old, but my ex husband has sole custody. What are my options and does he have a choice?

Where were you divorced? If in Nevada, you need to do a Motion for Change of Custody citing why it is in your son's best interests to come back and live with you. I would need more facts to give you options and some judges interview a 14 year old or appoint someone to interview the child. Expect to spend at least $10,000 for an attorney because an evidentiary hearing will be required if contested. This would be a mini-trial. [email protected]
