Stalking and Harassing

My ex- husband has been following me,calling, texting me, and defaming my name for over 3 years. Recently he has sabotaged my vehicle and called my boyfriends ex wife and now she is calling me. They call me on my cell and at work. With the advent of technology much of this harrassment is under the guise of private no.s and the like. What can I do to stop this? It is taking over my life. He has been caught outside my home and he also sends others to do some of the harassing. Besides a protective order which seems useless, what can I do?

Sue him for invasion of privacy, defamation, civil conspiracy, etc. and get a judgment against him for lots of money.
