taking my daughter to Florida on vacation
my husband and i just separated, not legal yet; my parents want me to come visit before returning to teaching in the fall. do i need to have my husband sign something saying i can take our daughter out of the state?

Technically no.
However, to avoid any potential hassles, it might be better just having him sign a statement saying it's ok for you to go out of state for a visit and indicating the date by which you will be returning.
