Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
Today my neice killed herself, and left behind 3 kids, 2 in highschool and 1 younger, none of her parents want them, and there dad is dying of an illness, his parents have agreed to take them, which would mean them leaving in the middle of the school year to a place where they have no one for support, and i think its already tragic enough with their mom gone, so my wife and i offered to let them stay with us (we live in the same town) till they finish out the school year atleast, since the older two are over 14 (we live in nv) would they get to choose who to stay with? and would they be able to stay with us?

My condolences for your loss.
If the kids' dad is not making a claim, all "third parties" basically stand on an equal plane, and those in-state have way fewer hurdles to overcome than those elsewhere. Possibilities are guardianship, or even adoption. See:
